About Us

We have become a widely recognized land development design firm since our start in 1979. Over the years we have provided a full range of land design services on a variety of projects. Currently The John R. McAdams Company operates three offices in the three economic centers of North Carolina: one in the Research Triangle area, one in Charlotte and our newest one in Wilmington.

Our RTP location is a 40,000 square foot facility with convenient access to Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. We’re also within minutes of the Raleigh-Durham International airport, which gives us the ability to work with clients across the country. For the same reason, our Charlotte office is located minutes away from Uptown, South Park and the Charlotte-Douglas International airport.

Our service experience has helped us adapt to the changing land development business climate. We’ve honed our services and operational procedures so we can perform as an extension of our clients’ organizations.
