History

The John R. McAdams Company, Inc. is a land development design firm structured to serve the developer. The firm, focused on client success, provides a unique collection of land development design services including land planning, zoning and permitting, surveying, site engineering, landscape architecture, stormwater management design and construction services. The firm’s 31 years of experience includes design for a variety of projects including master planned communities, subdivisions, mixed-use developments, retail shopping centers and malls, campus facilities, office buildings, as well as infill development, re-development and urban revitalization.

The John R. McAdams Company’s land development project experience is extensive and the firm is a common thread among many major developments across North Carolina. We are proud to be associated with mixed-use and residential developments like LV Realty, Old North State Club, Landfall, Meadowmont, Brier Creek Country Club, Falls River and Hope Valley Farms. Commercial projects include The Streets at Southpoint regional mall, North Hills Mall re-development, North Hills East, Patterson Place and Keystone Technology Park.

The Charlotte office, now located at 6701 Carmel Road, is currently serving a distinguished list of clients including: Faison, Cambridge Properties, LV Realty, First Centrum, Bell Tower Construction, Lauth Properties, BEC Properties, RheinMedall, and Lincoln Harris, among others.
