Brandon Plunkett Participates in Leadership Charlotte

Charlotte, N.C. – November 5, 2008 –The John R. McAdams Company’s Brandon Plunkett has been selected to participate in the current class of Leadership Charlotte.
Leadership Charlotte is a ten-month program in which participants meet with community leaders and are exposed to major issues impacting the region. Participants also address community needs in a hands-on manner. The programs of Leadership Charlotte focus on Charlotte’s history/heritage, arts and culture, education healthcare, government and politics, diversity quality of life, human services and community trusteeship. The goal of Leadership Charlotte is to develop and enhance volunteer community leadership by providing a diverse group of emerging and existing leaders with the opportunity to increase their community knowledge, civic network and service to the community.
Plunkett is the McAdams Company’s director of civil engineering in its Charlotte office. Participants in Leadership Charlotte are chosen based on proven leadership qualities, community service contributions and interest in the betterment of the community as a whole.
