RTP, N.C.-February 4, 2008-Business Leader magazine recently named John R. McAdams, founder and president of The John R. McAdams Company, as one of its 2007-2008 Triangle Impact Business Leaders.
Business Leader chose members of the business community for the Triangle Impact Business Leaders list who have demonstrated leadership in business and whose achievements have significantly impacted the Triangle community.
McAdams created The John R. McAdams Company in 1979 with a spirit of entrepreneurship and a strong conviction that his fledgling business would be a success. Almost 29 years later, the land development design and consulting firm has 180 employees in multiple locations. The firm has had a hand in the success of some of the largest developments in the state including The Streets of Southpoint, North Hills, Brier Creek, Landfall, The Club at Longview, Meadowmont and Renaissance Village.
“Congratulations to our 2007/2008 Business Leader of the Year and Impact Business Leaders in the Triangle,” said Vera Simms, publisher of Business Leader magazine. “This award recognizes their tremendous achievements and the contributions their companies have made to the Triangle business community.”
The Triangle Impact Business Leaders will be recognized at a gala on March 3 at the North Raleigh Hilton.
“I’m extremely honored to be listed with such esteemed members of the business community,” said McAdams. “My goal in starting the McAdams Company was to establish a firm whose work positively impacts the community in which we live and work and where employees could build their careers.”
