A Bull’s Eye at Southpoint
Renaissance Village, a Target anchored, 400,000 SF retail/office development adds a bold exclamation point to Southpoint, South Durham’s most impressive retail center. Before Renaissance Village, Southpoint already included the 1.3 million SF Streets at Southpoint Mall and its neighbor, Renaissance Center, a 751,515 SF mixed-use project.
Midland Atlantic, having already developed Renaissance Center, called on McAdams Company again to guide them through the design and approval process for Renaissance Village. McAdams Company’s experience with engineering and permitting for the adjacent mall project, as well as all the infrastructure surrounding Renaissance Village, made navigation through the approval process much easier, especially given the City of Durham’s stringent mixed-use requirements and Target’s own strict approval process and opening day deadline.
Today, the village represents a thriving addition to the Southpoint community.
