AAC Balances Brier Creek Site with Corporate Center
Brier Creek Corporate Center, currently consisting of two 85,000 square foot Class-A office buildings, is part of American Asset Corporation’s master-planned Brier Creek community. The fully built, 80-acre complex will offer two million SF of office, featuring mid-rise buildings with 250,000 SF of retail on lower levels and such amenities as controlled access entry, multiple fiber providers and vertical distribution of voice and data.
McAdams Company provided AAC surveying, civil engineering, and stormwater management services. McAdams Company’s Stormwater and Environmental Department designed a Master Stormwater Plan for the entire office tract while the design team delivered effective design solutions flexible enough to allow for significant tenant modifications. Project challenges such as difficult topography and site constraints resulted in creative design for limited parking. Staff also successfully secured a much-needed building permit for the first building prior to the subdivision’s final plat approval. This early permit allowed AAC to deliver completed space to a key tenant on time. Finally, the McAdams team provided a comprehensive earthwork analysis encompassing the complete subdivision, enabling AAC to effectively plan for future phases.
