Keystone, the Cornerstone of Morrisville Office Space
Keystone Corporation originally purchased 178 acres in 1984 to begin development of Keystone Park. Today, Keystone Technology Park is a 600,000 SF office and distribution development located in Morrisville with easy access to Research Triangle Park. In 1997, the park was awarded “Top Development of the Year” by the Triangle Business Journal.
Keystone Corporation looked to McAdams Company to provide effective solutions for the many challenges the project presented, including extensive rock and low water pressure. Located on the tip of Durham City/County lines, the Durham water system was not yet fully developed in that area. This required a great deal of water modeling and numerous fire flow tests and the upsizing of an existing sanitary sewer pump station to allow portions of the project to meet the required flow demands.
McAdams Company provided unparalleled land planning, site engineering, traffic signal design, and surveying services, leading to a successful project for Keystone. The John R. McAdams Company is proud to have been a part of this groundbreaking Triangle area project.
