The Yards at Noda - Multi-Family - Charlotte, North Carolina
A longtime client of McAdams Company, Gateway Homes developed the newest urban infill project in Charlotte. What was an existing truck yard surrounded by railroad lines is now upscale residential with more than 330 apartments. The Renaissance is located in Charlotte’s Historic Arts District (NoDa); recently ranked by Money Magazine as one of the best places to live in the country.
McAdams Company provided topographic surveys, complete civil design, managed water quality issues and successfully negotiated railroad encroachment right-of-way in the early stages of the project. The community will offer upscale amenities that will include a walking trail around the development and wind through a sculpture garden. Walkability and numerous transportation options are key features of this project as well as the proximity to downtown Charlotte.
With anticipated light rail service in 2011, and continued growth in the neighborhood, Gateway Homes has positioned this development in a prime location with an estimated completion slated for 2009.
